ok so before i got braces i had 2 teeth removed. it was the ones after the canines, so they have to pull the 3 teeth in front of each extraction back. i had my braces for about 1 year and 3 months before they but the chains on (the rubber bands that close the gaps) until then my teeth moved slowly making the gaps worse. its been about 3 months since i got the chains and i haven’t seen much improvement. in fact the gaps look worse because the canines are moving much faster then the other teeth. how long is it gonna take for them to finish closing? im really self conscious because i have clear braces and sometimes the gaps are easier to notice then the braces are and im afraid of what people (mainly guys) will think. please help with any information you have.

p.s im not sure if this is important but they said i would have braces for about 2 years

Im having these self image problems latley. My hair doesnt seem to be long enough, and it never seems to go the way i want it to. I’ve gained some weight, and that makes me feel the worst, and i feel like i could just look better, at the end of the day i feel fatter, my face looks more oily and my clothes fit different than they did this morning. I want an ultimatum so bad, im a pretty girl but lately all i see is things needing improvement. i dont feel good enough, even though my boyfriend insist i am beautiful,what should i do?

We adopted a small beagle mix puppy when he was 1 month he is now going on three months. We noticed that he had sneezing, and a little cough so we took him to the vet. They put him on antibiotics and told us to watch for improvement and to bring him back in if he started showing signs of twitching in the mouth or the “gum chewing” mouth movement. We started him on the antibiotics and a day later he was back to his old self, cough, runny nose, goopy eyes, all gone. He has not had diarrhea or vomit issues at all. His appetite is up and he is eating and drinking plenty. A day later he started having twitching in his right front paw. It has not stopped for 4 days now and continues. We know that the distemper has moved into the nuerological stage, we just want to hear from people who have dealt with this disease of whether or not there is something we can do to stop the twitching or ease it while he is sleeping. We took him back to the vet and they put him on more antibiotics but all symptoms have gone away except the twitching. We are hoping he is able to sleep through it. We want to help him in every way possible.

basically. if i stop eating for a day (as in, eat hardly anything, not starve myself) i will straight away lose weight. If I eat very little for 2-3 days, i will see a huge improvement already. my body’s just really good at that. BUT here’s the problem I can’t keep off the junk food for long enough! it’s not a problem of not being able to lose weight because I know if i just lay of the junk for a couple of days i’ll shrink. but i just don’t have that self-control! even if i could hold back for a week or 2 but i cant.
